The local saying is that if you can afford to live in Playas, you are doing pretty well. Due to the fact that Playas is so close to San Diego, many people are bi-lingual and there are a large numbers of Americans living in Playas commuting across the border to work in the US. Pass through the Northern toll booth for your first glimps of Playas.
